We are proud to share an important development within Coco & Sebas: Joost-Jan Kinds (46) has been appointed as our new CEO as of January 1, 2025. Joost-Jan succeeds Roger Scheeren , who is leaving the organization after more than six successful years to take up a new challenge at Heuschen & Schrouff, European market leader in Asian food products.

In addition to this appointment, our management team will be further strengthened with:

Niek van Orsouw (35) as CFO, who comes from the Vermaat Group and previously worked at KPMG.

Veronique Albers (36) as CCO. Veronique was previously associated with Coco & Sebas on an interim basis and brings a strong commercial background, including her experience at Homefashion Group (Kwantum/Leenbakker).

Founder Remy Sebas Rombouts is stepping down from the management but will remain closely associated with Coco & Sebas as chef patissier and inspiration for the brand.

Under the leadership of Roger Scheeren, Coco & Sebas has grown from a start-up to the premium chocolate brand of the Netherlands, with 23 stores and a successful webshop. We are extremely grateful to Roger for his dedication and leadership in realizing this growth. He leaves behind a solid foundation on which Joost-Jan can build.

Joost-Jan brings with him a broad experience from both the retail and brand world, with positions at C1000, Schiphol Airport Retail, Coca-Cola
and Diageo. He looks forward to building the future together with the Coco & Sebas team and our valued partners.
